Koontz-Shulman Emerge Victorious in the Perkins Law $500 Winner-Take-All Challenge Match

Eric Shulman and Hunter Koontz shared the $500 top prize from last Friday’s Perkins Law Winner-Take-All Challenge match (I assume they split the money 50/50) defeating Kyle Parker and Chase Bernstine to cap an entertaining evening of tennis at Salisbury Country Club’s 9th Annual Friday Night Lights tennis event.  A crowd of over 300 local tennis fans were on hand for the festivities that included a buffet dinner, a silent auction that raised over $2,000 for the Virginia Tennis Association, and an opening exhibition doubles match that saw acac’s Jason Kinder and Al Thomas defeat the Salisbury duo of Scott Steinour and Mike Moyer in a fun match filled with trick shots and amazing angles.  Great tennis by the participants and a super job by the Salisbury team for a great event.  Just another example of why Richmond is one of America’s best tennis towns!
