One of the crown jewels of the RVA entrepreneurial ecosystem is Lighthouse Labs, a nonprofit organization that operates a mentor-driven accelerator program for local startups. The program offers entrepreneurs a blend of mentoring, education and support services, and collaborate work space to help participating startups navigate from concept to viable, high growth businesses over a 90-day period. Lighthouse Labs has worked with over two dozen startup businesses over the last four years that have gone on to raise an aggregate of nearly $10 million in investment capital. Notable “graduates” include: Blue Ocean Brain, Occasion Genius, Painless 1099, and Tenant Turner.

Lighthouse Labs is currently accepting applications for its next program–a great opportunity for a local startup business searching for help to “take it to the next level”.
