2018 SCOREcard Business Pitch Competition Underway

Nearly two dozen RVA small business startups are competing for a $5,000 top prize and bragging rights in the local business community.

C&F Bank hosted a reception on Wednesday night for the contestants, sponsors, judges, and SCORE mentors. A wide variety of businesses are represented in this year’s competition, ranging from fitness to party planning to pole dancing.

RVA small business attorney Eric Perkins is excited to be both a sponsor and a judge for the competition, which is now in its third year.

Six finalists will be chosen to make their final pitches before a panel of judges on June 6 to determine the winner. Stay tuned for updates and good luck to all the contestants!
